Westbridge Community Church

Service & Groups

A church is not just a place or a building; it is a group of people living and working as one – church is about doing life together! We have various opportunities to serve together or meet throughout the week and study in a more intimate setting. From service ministries to small groups, each time together is designed to help us grow within our church family, learn more about God and His word, and learn how we can be disciples in this world.

Service:  Each week happens because of the various volunteers who have been gifted to serve together and become a part of what God is doing through our church and in our community.  These ministries allow God-given gifts to be used to draw others nearer to Him.  There are opportunities in running sound or computer, setting up the Café Corner, worshipping through music and/or singing, teaching, and cleaning.  Various other opportunities will arise throughout each year. If you would like to serve God in this capacity, see any of the church leadership.

Small Groups: Our small groups meet at various times throughout the month. Each group is geared toward a different life stage and is available to help each of us to grow in our faith and enjoy life to the full.

  • “The Sweet Hour of Prayer”, as we affectionately call it, is open to anyone who wishes to reflect on what God is doing and then spend an hour in prayer, scripture, and worship.
  • Women’s and Men’s Groups alternate meeting on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM.  This is a time for adults to fellowship, pray, and grow in the word of God.
  • Bridging Couples Group gathers to cultivate relationships with other couples and seek God’s wisdom in this most important earthly relationship.  This group typically meets one Friday per month.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25
